The Mosaic

So many broken pieces.
On their own they represent but a fraction of something that once was whole.
Merely a ghost of a past never to return.
Many will discard these broken pieces.
Cast away as useless scraps with no value or worth.
Ah but there is a hidden beauty in the brokenness that very few can see.
A beauty that can only be seen by those that recognize that these broken pieces are not remnants of what once was but rather a vital piece of what is yet to come.
For it is with these broken pieces that the artist crafts a beautiful mosaic.
There is beauty in brokenness for those willing to forget what once was and focus on what is to be.
